In line with NUC requirements, qualified academics from other universities moderate examinations and assess final-year projects.

The academic calendar approved by Senate and Management is now published. Resumption is staggered by level: 100 level and JUPEB on Saturday 26 September, 200 level on Friday 9 October, 300 level on Saturday 10 October, and final year on Thursday 22 October 2026 (extended by the Vice-Chancellor on 26 September 2026).
