How does the university know who a student's parents are?
The student names their parents or guardians on the portal; each one then confirms their details from an e-mail.
- The student enters each parent or guardian on the portal, with an e-mail address.
- Each person gets an e-mail from the university headed “Your details are needed”, with a private link.
- They open the link and confirm or complete their own details. That link works for a limited time and only once.
Once confirmed, the university can reach you about your child — for example to approve an exeat — and you can sign in to this help centre with a code.
